Other artists on the CD include Chuck Prophet, Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Wynn, Tom Ovans, Ezio and The Redlands Palamino Co. www.spydaradio.com Rosie Wilby has been selected as one of the emerging artists to be featured in the City Showcase event at the end of September. 'Red Hot & Feeling Great' also features Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Beverley Knight. Weds 31st July - 'This Time' appears at number 3 in music writer Kristian Barford's Top 10 favourite tracks on Teletext on Channel 4. After the huge success of the Girls Cross Country tour in March featuring Wilby and Virginia MacNaughton, the girls will be at the Gilded Balloon venue during Edinburgh Festival... they are looking for Edinburgh-based female singer/songwriters to join them for short guest spots... you must have a following in Edinburgh ... email wilby@wilbymusic.freeserve.co.uk Rosie Wilby will be on tour around the country in March as part of Girls Cross Country, a project funded by the Arts Council and Generator to promote indepedent female singer/songwriters.
