One of Rosie Wilby's new tracks I'd Rather Not Be Saved has been selected for inclusion on a compilation CD being released on May 31st 2004 by internet radio station Spydaradio. Other artists on the CD include Chuck Prophet, Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Wynn, Tom Ovans, Ezio and The Redlands Palamino Co. www.spydaradio.com

Wilby's track 'This Time' has been selected to appear on a compilation CD of great established and new female artists, which comes free on the cover with September's Red magazine. 'Red Hot & Feeling Great' also features Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Beverley Knight.

Weds 31st July - 'This Time' appears at number 3 in music writer Kristian Barford's Top 10 favourite tracks on Teletext on Channel 4.

After the huge success of the Girls Cross Country tour in March featuring Wilby and Virginia MacNaughton, the girls will be at the Gilded Balloon venue during Edinburgh Festival... they are looking for Edinburgh-based female singer/songwriters to join them for short guest spots... you must have a following in Edinburgh ... email wilby@wilbymusic.freeserve.co.uk

Rosie Wilby will be on tour around the country in March as part of Girls Cross Country, a project funded by the Arts Council and Generator to promote indepedent female singer/songwriters. Rosie will be backed by Dave Weightman and Paul Eldridge from her band, and will be co-headlining with Virginia MacNaughton (see www.virginiamacnaughton.com). Recording begins in January on Wilby's second album which will feature new songs What Kind Of Friend, It's Not That I Need You Back and Go along with recent single Be There.
